On yesterday afternoon's boat dive we spotted our first humpback of the season off Kauai's south shore. It was such a welcomed sight. I can't wait to hear their songs while I dive. If you have never witnessed humpback whales, now is the time to come to Kauai. It's an awe inspiring sight. Underwater their songs are eerie and yet enthralling. Last year I was able to snorkel with a few humpback, this year I hope to see at least one while diving. My sincerest thanks go out to Bob for initially spotting the whale.
